DAY-1

ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND TRANSFER TO ARUSHA

Upon arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your personal driver-guide or company representative. You will then be transferred to your comfortable accommodation in Arusha, where you can unwind after your journey.

Enjoy a relaxing evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay as you prepare for the exciting adventures ahead. DAY-2

ARUSHA TO MARANGU GATE – TREK TO MANDARA HUT

After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and enjoy a scenic drive to Kilimanjaro National Park. At the Marangu Gate, complete registration and park formalities before beginning your trek.

The trail ascends through tranquil montane forest, alive with birdlife and natural beauty, eventually opening up to Mandara Hut. Here, you'll enjoy dinner and spend the night. Details:

DAY-3

MANDARA HUT TO HOROMBO HUT

Climb steadily through the moorland zone, passing giant heather and occasional groundsel stands. Sunrises and sunsets here are breathtaking, with views close to the glaciated dome of Kibo.

DAY-4

HOROMBO HUT TO KIBO HUT

Begin with a gradual ascent toward the vast, lunar-like Saddle, stretching between Mawenzi Peak and the towering Kibo cone. Vegetation fades into alpine desert, creating a dramatic high-altitude atmosphere.

Arrive at Kibo Hut by midday, rest, hydrate, and prepare for the summit attempt. An early night is essential. Details:

DAY-5

KIBO HUT TO SUMMIT – DESCENT TO HOROMBO HUT

Your summit attempt begins at 1:00 AM, guided by torchlight. Ascend steep volcanic scree in zigzags toward Gillman's Point (5,685 m), timed perfectly for sunrise.

Those acclimatized may continue along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), Africa's highest point. After celebrating, descend swiftly to Kibo Hut, then onward to Horombo Hut for overnight stay.

HOROMBO HUT TO MARANGU GATE – RETURN TO ARUSHA

Retrace your route from Horombo Hut through moorland and forest back to Marangu Gate. Complete check-out formalities before meeting your driver for transfer to Arusha.

Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure an ideal time to rest, celebrate, and reflect on your successful summit. Details:
