DAY-1

ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO KARATU

We'll start your adventure by picking you up from your hotel. Once you've met our guide and chef, we'll head off to Tarangire National Park, which is about a 2-hour drive away. This park is famous for its diverse landscape, including the iconic Ancient Baobab trees, and it's known for having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country. You'll have the chance to observe these magnificent animals and witness the interaction between elephant families. During our game drive through the park, we'll keep an eye out for various animals, especially predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, although they can be tricky to spot. We'll also see plenty of herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras. After our exploration, we'll head to the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch, where we can enjoy a scenic view of the river and the animals. Don't be surprised if small monkeys and baboons try to join us they're just curious! Once we've had our fill, we'll continue our game drive until around 4:30 pm, when we'll exit the park. After the tour, we'll head to our accommodation in Karatu for the night.

DAY-2

KARATU TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we'll depart from Karatu for the journey to the Serengeti, which takes approximately 6 hours, including stops along the way. Our route passes through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering spectacular landscapes as we drive. We'll make a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate and viewpoint, where you can marvel at the breathtaking crater a truly awe-inspiring sight and perfect for photos. There is also an optional visit to a Maasai village, offering a unique insight into the culture and traditions of the Maasai people. You'll learn about their rich heritage, including traditional practices such as lion hunting, once a rite of passage for warriors. While some customs, like drinking raw animal blood, are no longer practiced, the visit provides a valuable cultural experience. After our stops, we'll continue the journey to the Serengeti National Park, ready to embark on the exciting wildlife adventures that await in this iconic safari destination.

DAY-3

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY

On this day, we'll explore different parts of the Serengeti, depending on the movements of the wildlife. After an early breakfast, we'll set out on an early game drive to maximize our chances of spotting animals. We'll continue our exploration throughout the day, pausing for lunch amidst the stunning landscapes of the Serengeti. Our game drive will extend into the evening, allowing us to witness the beauty of the savannah as the sun begins to set. As we return to the campsite, keep your eyes peeled animals may still be spotted in the vicinity. We'll enjoy dinner under the stars before settling in for the night at our handpicked accommodation.

DAY-4

SERENGETI TO KARATU

In Seronera, Serengeti National Park, we'll start our day bright and early at 6:00 am with a steaming cup of coffee to wake us up. After getting fueled up, we'll set off from our accommodation for a morning game viewing adventure in the heart of Serengeti. As we explore, we'll be treated to the breathtaking sight of the morning sun rising over the Serengeti plains. While the mornings can be a bit chilly, especially in the open safari vehicle, don't worry – just remember to bundle up in warm clothes. We'll continue our game drive until mid-day, soaking in the sights and sounds of the Serengeti wilderness. Then, it's back to camp for a hearty breakfast and lunch to refuel for the rest of the day's adventures. After lunch, we'll hit the road again, this time making our way towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area then to Karatu. Along the way, we'll enjoy a game drive, keeping our eyes peeled for any wildlife sightings.

DAY-5

GAME DRIVE AT NGORONGORO CRATER – KARATU

After breakfast, we'll set out for the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying a picnic lunch along the way. Upon reaching the crater's descending gate, we'll drive down to the crater floor, which lies 650 meters below the rim, for a half-day wildlife tour. The crater is home to a remarkable variety of animals, supported by its year-round water sources. During our tour, keep your eyes open for elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, and with some luck, you might even spot the elusive black rhinoceros. The dense wildlife population makes the crater one of Africa's most rewarding safari destinations. After exploring the crater floor, we'll ascend back to the rim to enjoy lunch while taking in the stunning panoramic views. Following this, we'll drive to Karatu, where a delicious dinner and overnight stay await, giving you time to rest and reflect on a day filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters. DAY-6

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK – DRIVE TO ARUSHA / AIRPORT

After breakfast, we'll head to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its abundance of flamingoes in the lake and its elusive tree-climbing lions, although sightings of the latter are rare. During our game drive in the park, we'll have the opportunity to spot a variety of bird species, including the iconic flamingoes. If we're lucky, we might even catch a glimpse of the famous tree-climbing lions. We'll also visit the hippo pool to observe these magnificent creatures up close, and we'll have the chance to explore the hot spring. Throughout our game drive, we'll encounter a diverse array of animals, including buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, vultures, eagles, and monkeys. After half-day game drive we'll take you back to Arusha or transfer direct to the airport to catch up a flight back home or your onward destinations marking the end of our incredible adventure to Tanzania's iconic national parks–northern circuit.
